I have thoroughly enjoyed my work with the Federation and indeed the 17 years Police service prior to that. This award is not just for me, but reflects the hard work of all my colleagues over the years and also the support of my family.”

A statement from the Police Federation of England and Wales said that Brian had latterly been key member of the claims team at Leatherhead. It added: “Brian had a knowledge of Police Federation issues that was second to none.”
