{"id":2863,"date":"2016-06-02T14:34:51","date_gmt":"2016-06-02T14:34:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/essexfedfocus.co.uk\/?p=2863"},"modified":"2016-06-02T15:47:57","modified_gmt":"2016-06-02T15:47:57","slug":"officers-quizzedd-on-fairness-of-current-police-pay-process","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/essexfedfocus.co.uk\/?p=2863","title":{"rendered":"Officers quizzed on fairness of current police pay process"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>POLICE\u00a0officers have been asked to share their views on issues such as pay, pensions, shift patterns and career prospects by The Police Federation of England and Wales.<\/p>\n<p>The organisation has launched its annual survey of pay and morale in the service which forms part of the Federation\u2019s submission to the Police Remuneration Review Body (PRRB).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Questions include if officers would \u201cagree or disagree\u201d with statements such as \u201cI would be very happy to spend the rest of my career in the police service\u201d and \u201cIf I had not already put so much of myself into the police service, I might consider working elsewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They are also asked how satisfied they are with the levels of pay and overtime and how \u201cfair\u201d they think the current police pay process is.<\/p>\n<p>Officers are asked for their views on promotion prospects, working hours, and the performance and development process.<\/p>\n<p>Shift patterns, training, managers\u2019 behaviour and how long officers think they will stay in the service also come under the microscope in the anonymous survey, which takes around 15 minutes to fill in.<\/p>\n<p>Officers have until 1 July to fill in the online questionnaire at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.co.uk\/r\/pfewpaysurvey2016\">https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.co.uk\/r\/pfewpaysurvey2016<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>POLICE\u00a0officers have been asked to share their views on issues such as pay, pensions, shift patterns and career prospects by The Police Federation of England and Wales.
