TWO stolen Terrier puppies have been returned to their rightful owners by two Uttlesford police officers.<\/p>\n
PC Joe Whitehead and his unnamed colleague arrested a 52-year-old woman on suspicion of burglary, before taking the abducted puppies back to the station to wait for their owners to collect them.<\/p>\n
Joe and his colleague were met by extremely grateful owners, who thanked the pair profusely for finding their beloved pets and looking after them.<\/p>\n
In light of the situation, PC Whitehead said: \u201cBurglary can have a big impact on victims and being in a position to apprehend the suspect and return these stolen puppies was a very rewarding experience.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe puppies did not seem distressed and we had great fun keeping them entertained until their worried owners were able to collect them.\u201d<\/p>\n
The woman arrested in connection with the burglary was later released under investigation whilst further enquiries into the matter are made.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
