THE first-ever Essex Police Federation Bravery Awards will give courageous officers in the force the \u2018right recognition\u2019.<\/p>\n
The new Awards will take place in April 2020 and officers named as overall winners will go on to the National Police Bravery Awards in London in July 2020.<\/p>\n
Lead sponsors for the event are Uniform Mortgages.<\/p>\n
Federation Chairman Steve Taylor said he was looking forward to giving all nominees and winners the platform their brave acts in the line of duty deserve.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a fantastic event, and we\u2019re looking forward to it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt’s well-supported by the force, and we hope to give bravery the platform it deserves locally and encourage the correct recognition for those brave events that go on, on a daily basis, in Essex, to be seen in the light that they deserve to be seen in.<\/p>\n
